In a world that moves at an ever-quickening pace, there’s a deep longing to slow down; to reconnect with the body and mind in a way that feels centered and grounded. Moving away from the endless rush, there’s a desire to engage in timeless activities—something that allows for presence without distraction. The aim of Healing Hikes is to listen closely to the voice of inner wisdom that often gets drowned out by the constant hum of screens and notifications. It's a gentle call to step away from the digital noise, fast pace, and endless demands of modern life—to nourish the soul with moments of peace and clarity, and to honor the stillness that’s often the most revealing.

The mind-body connection is fundamental to living a balanced and authentic life, yet many of us spend much of our days trapped in our heads, disconnected from the wisdom and strength of our bodies. The body is where our higher self resides, a place of intuition, vitality, and deep inner knowing. When we neglect to tune into the physical sensations, energy, and rhythms of the body, we lose touch with that core aspect of ourselves.

By nourishing the body with mindful movement, conscious breathing, and self-care, we can increase awareness, insight, and presence, allowing the mind and body to work in harmony. Doing this fosters a deeper connection to our true essence and empowers us to live with more insight, authenticity, and purpose.

Healing Hikes help to cultivate a stronger mind-body connection, encouraging you to tap into the present through nature, movement, and experiential mindfulness. The beauty and peace of nature naturally invite mindfulness, grounding you in the present moment and helping you reconnect with your body’s needs and signals. Walking allows you to feel your muscles stretch and your breath deepen, bringing awareness to how your body moves and responds to the environment. This intentional time outdoors gives space for both increased consciousness and physical well-being, supporting a balanced and authentic sense of self. It’s a perfect opportunity to embrace curiosity, foster gratitude, and heal in a way that nurtures both mind and body.

Healing Hikes offers a blend of nature, mindfulness, and connection to help you slow down and embrace all that is YOU.

Hike Itinerary

  • Welcome Tea Gathering: Begin your journey with a calming tea session. Enjoy a warm cup of herbal tea as we introduce the theme for the hike and set our intentions.

  • Meditation: Ground yourself with a peaceful meditation session. Through deep breathing and mindful presence, we will prepare our minds and hearts for the healing walk ahead.

  • Silent Walk: Experience the power of silence as we embark on a silent walk. Let the sounds of nature guide you, allowing for inner reflection and a deeper connection with the environment.

  •  Guided Somatic Writing Exercise: With your journal in hand, participate in a guided writing exercise. Reflect on your personal journey and aspirations in a serene natural setting.

  • Group Sharing Circle: Conclude the writing practice with a group sharing circle. In a supportive and compassionate space, participants are invited to share their reflections and experiences from the day, fostering a sense of community and collective healing.

  • Breath Work: Conclude the hike with breath work exercise and intention setting. 


Come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, water, and an open heart and mind.  A gift will be provided.  This Healing Hike promises to be a rejuvenating and inspiring experience, leaving you with a renewed sense of hope and a deeper connection to yourself and nature.
